Hello there! Welcome to the world of Pokémon! This world is inhabited by creatures called Pokémon! For some people, Pokémon are pets. Other use them for fights....

Fairfall Village
A small quiet village on the east coast of the Sentou Region. Our story begins at Professor Malus' lab, where one trainer nearly missed her chance to get a Pokemon of her own! Thankfully, the Professor's assistant stayed behind to meet any trainers that missed the orientation.

"Good afternoon, and welcome to the Fairfall Pokemon Lab. Professor Malus is busy right now, but I'm able to assist you in getting your new Pokemon today." A light-haired woman spoke, greeting the young lady who'd just hurried into the lobby. "Do you have a certain Pokemon in mind today?" She asked, a sweet smile on her face.

The girl now standing in the lobby, panted heavily but still did her best to speak between the breaths. "Hi!" *pant* "I'm, so sorry I'm late," *pant* She took a deep breath and straightened up. "Um, do you have Charmander still?" Jane trembled slightly from the excitement. But also from the nervousness. She had set her mind on Charmander but on her way to the lab she had gotten lost and feared she had screwed up her chance to get the started she wanted.

"Oh dear," the woman started, checking the tablet that she held in her hands. "I'm sorry, but the only Charmander we had was given to another trainer already. We do have some Pokemon left, however, this includes, Chikorita, Treeko, Tepig, and finally, Froakie." she listed, each Pokemon a tap on her tablet. "Would you be interested in any of those Pokemon? If not, you might have to wait a while for us to get more. These Pokemon left, are, however, the only ones we have."

"Oh..." Jane sighed. She couldn't help but feel disappointed. But brushing the feeling away, she lightened up and smiled at the woman. "It's alright," Jane said. "Can I please pick Froakie then?" As she got over her missed opportunity, Jane started to feel happy again. Froakie would be a familiar face on her journey and it would be like having a dear piece of home with her.
Everything happens for a reason... She thought and smiled wider.

The assistant's small, worried frown tilted upward and she smiled, "Froakie it is then." She said, lifting a Pokeball from a nearby tray on the desk. When the assistant clicked open the Pokeball, a slightly smaller than average Froakie appeared next to the tray, light blue spots on its cheeks, shoulders, and knees, as well as light blue coloured back feet as well. "Here he is," she said, handing the young lady Froakie's Pokeball. "he's all yours, now," she turned and picked up a bracelet.

"This is a Holobracelet, it contains your map and your Pokedex." The bracelet was a heavy-duty material, grey in colour, and a circular screen that bubbled at the top. "There are buttons on each side of the dome," she explained, pushing each button, one at a time.

The map button brought up a hologram map that floated a few inches above the dome, an arrow pointing to the current location. The Pokedex button opened a hologram Pokedex, floating the same distance from the dome below it as the map did. "To scan a Pokemon you simply hold the button down and the small camera on the side will scan the wanted Pokemon, like so..." She then scanned Froakie and its Pokedex information hovered above the dome. "You can use the Pokedex to find out all you need to know about a Pokemon."

Jane accepted the pokeball with trembling hands. But she trembled out of joy. "My own pokemon," she whispered. "Hi there little guy, aren't you the cutest," she said knelt down to the floor, smiling at the little fella. Froakie tilted its blue head, and then burst out a jolly "Froe!"
Jane stood up as she was handed the bracelet and eagerly put it on, staring at it for a moment, taking everything in. It was still too good to be true and she was worried she'd wake up any moment now. She clenched her fists and hid her wide smile with them, stepping eagerly on the spot. "Eeeh I can't believe I finally get to do this!" She cried and suddenly became aware of the woman again. Jane cleared her throat and picked up Froakie. Then she turned to the woman again. "So, what's next? Where do I go now?" She asked and did her best to stay in one place as her feet just wanted to bolt out of the lab and get going.

"I'm certain that there are still many new Pokemon trainers at the Pokemon Center, so you might want to try there first." The woman replied, bidding the girl goodbye. The Froakie was in good hands and she knew it, now all she had to do was find trainers for the final three... "Be careful on your journey, there's no telling what you might run into."

Sierra and Torrin have reached the Pokemon Center, now's the time to add your character into the story. You can have her meet them as they're going inside.

"Pokemon center, got it!" She turned and as she bolted for the door, Jane spun in the air, shouting a thank you as she exited the door.
Jane started to slow down, out of breath again. "Man I'm so out of shape," She panted. Froakie didn't seem to be tired at all, jumping in a circle around her, cheering her on to continue. Jane smiled and laughed. "Okay, come on then. I think that's the Pokemon center up ahead," Jane said to froakie and looked ahead. She halted for a second when she saw all the people. "Oh dang it.... that's a looot of trainers," She hesitated but then decided to press on. Most people looked nice anyway. But she didn't enjoy the thought of getting stuck among all the eager and restless trainers. Jane let out a deep sigh. "Come here Froakie, I don't want you to get stepped on," she said and picked the little fella up in her arms. He instantly jumped out and climbed on to her head, settling down with a content smile. "Okay then, if you're comfortable up there that's fine by me. Lets get in line behind those two up ahead," Jane said and started to walk up towards two trainers with their backs towards her.
